Wellington N was the federal electoral district represented in the Canadian House of Commons from 1867 to 1953. It was in the province of Ontario.
It was created per British North America Act of 1867 which divided the County of Wellington into Northward, South & Centre Ridings. A N Riding consisted at a start of the Town of Amaranth, Arthur, Luther, Minto, Maryborough, Peel, & the village of Mount Outdoors.
Inside 1872, a town of Peel was flushed from either a riding, & a Village of Mount Arthur was added. Around 1882, a riding was re-defined to consist of a town of Wallace, Minto, Arthur, Luther East, Luther West & Amaranth, a towns of Palmerston, Harriston & Mount Outdoors, & the villages of Arthur & Clifford.
Around 1903, a Wellington's trio ridings were comibined into 2: a northward & a in the south ridings of Wellington. A in a north riding consisted of a town of Arthur, Garafraxa West, Luther West, Maryborough, Minto & Peel, the towns of Harriston, Mount Woods & Palmerston, & the villages of Arthur, Clifford & Drayton.
Around 1924, a riding was known as "Wellington North" & defined when consisting of that section of a county of Wellington fabrication northward of a line described when commencing at the south-east corner of the town of Garafraxa West & resulting its southerly & westerly boundaries & the southerly boundary of the town of Peel, south boundary of Wellington county.
Around 1933, it wwhen defined as consisting of a town of Arthur, Erwithin, Garafraxa West, Maryborough, Minto, Peel & West Luther in Wellington county, & the town of Garafraxa East & East Luther in the county of Dufferin. Within 1947, it was defined to consist of a town of Arthur, Erin, Garafraxa West, Maryborough, Minto, Peel & West Luther including a towns of Mount Outdoors & Palmerston in a county of Wellington, & the town of Garafraxa East & Luther East in the county of Dufferin, however excluding the town of Orangeville.
A electoral territory was abolished within 1952 after it was redistributed between Dufferin—Simcoe, Wellington South and Wellington—Huron ridings.
